rs4 style wheels

Hi people new to site click on everyday, I want to ask my first question to see if anyone can help me.

Buying a set of genuine RS4/TT wheels 8.5 x19 ET48 can anyone tell me if I will have problems fitting them on an S3 57 plate.

Thanks for quick response as I'm going to get a set this weekend and can't return them if they are wrong. Tried 8x19 ET42 and they rubbed on arches not good! So this information is great.

i,m surprised 8x19" rubbed with that offset????? if your unsure stick with 18"

You should wait for some more responses because mine is 19/8.5/and 45 and they were tight , Maybe yours will stick out im not sure just wait for a few more answers on here first just to make sure ...

thanks guys. I'm I reading this right, the bigger the offset number the further in under the arch the wheel will sit

Yes, its kind of inverse. I looked into this recently, the more offset the less distance between wheel and hub.
