B7 RS4 B7 double din stereo - replacement options

Hi all,

First post, apologies if this has been done to death.

My RS4 B7 had an aftermarket double din stereo fitted when I bought it. It is OK but looks a bit cheap and was after something more OEM; however, the original stereo seems very dated.

Wondered if anyone had any recommended replacement options?

I looked at some of the Alpine models (e.g. Alpine X800D-U) but >£1k is a bit steep.

I am completely open regarding options but OEM would be my preferred choice.

I have seen people highly recommend you on other threads so in your experience what would you recommend?
