RS3 rolling race rwd mode

Wow he achieved 449 thats extremely good but infinit dyno is known to produce a higher bhp outcome then other more reliable dynos like the one at NVM motorsport

I couldn’t comment, but for me it’s the comparison on the same day of a tune or work being done so you can see the differences or gains on the same dyno. Less about the outright number because they can be fiddled somewhat.

I agree did he post any dyno runs of when the car was completely stock

The figures quoted are stock, with only the back box modifications which I highly doubt would add much (if anything).

Didnt T R Hamza have his RS3 tuned there and two weeks later at MRC? It would be interesting to see/compare what MRC dyno showed before they did their work on his car

To be honest with you the tr hamza old rs3 made rlly good figures when tuned by infinit the car sounded rlly strong but when done by mrc the bhp and torque wasnt good at all theres several other rs3 that had the sane setup as him and they was making 620bhp minimum

I have no idea which tuner I’d prefer from experience (although I’ve heard plenty stories), but I’ll say in general you have to take peak figures with a pinch of salt.

Infinit could have higher peak and blow the engine, with MRC choosing to run safer and lower peak values but with more area under the curve? There’s all sorts of differences, I’m not saying that’s the case, it’s just an example.

Or maybe their bunk just reads higher than MRC? Could be heaps of stuff.

In my mind the only way to really tell is to put the cars against each other on the road at the same time really.

Thats the bit that bends the rods :)

Golf 7R manual transmission has a reduced torque map at mid range to stop clutch slip, same kind of thing really

Stock engines have bent rods and there are cars with MRC tunes that have bent rods too. They were just good at keeping it shush ;)

Also noticed MRC just done a stage 2 with 538ps and 729nm.
I thought companies where capping the torque at 700nm to stop the engines going or am I wrong?

Mine was capped at just under.

Yes MRC tend to only cap the torque to 700 on a DAZA engine but when its a DNWA they cap it at 730,no idea why they do this because the connecting rods and the pistons are all the same i had thought that the DAZA engines where stronger and better for tuning???

Well ive been a massive audi fan and absolutely hate bmw the best bmw in my opinion is a m140i but could never see myself in one.i do like the c63 but ive absolutely gapped loads of modified ones in my old rs3 8v.my brother has a stage 2 m3 and im looking to race him and a few others when i do get another rs3 i think the only other car i would get is an r35 GT-R its one of the best awd cars for roll racing
Why you hate BMW? and the M140i is a decent car but to say it’s the best BMW lololololololololol

Mate the m140i is a very good car for roll racing the engine can handle an insane amount of power theres so many mods u can do and they are the only semi reliable bmw when tuned also it could easily smoke the other bmw thats are of a similar power. And yh in general I absolutely hate bmw they are absolute migraines ive owned majority of the bmws old and new because im a car dealer and boi from experience lemme tell your they are rubbish

If you watch TR Hamzas video test driving it he shows the engine code but I can’t remember what it is off the top of my head.

It will be interesting to see just how many modifications the engine in the 8Y has over previous generations.

From Audi's point of view why should they make an engine that strong that it can take huge hp increases?

I remember Porsche with the air cooled 911 getting the Japanese involved with the ‘new’ 996 model and asking Porsche the same question, at the time that would be ‘’Why are you making a std engine with an output of 230hp so strong that will withstand making well over 400hp when turbocharged?’’

Yh i get what u mean but i think audi realised they had to make the engine stronger because of the amount of stock engines that went because of the connecting rods is unbelievable so surely they knew that if they are going to stick with the 2.5 theyll have to make it stronger

Lol
Mate as an owner of;
F80 M3 comp
F82 M4 comp
F87 M2 comp
F13 M6 comp
All stage2 with full supporting mods hardware/software and full suspension setups etc etc i personally think you talking ******** lol. Just because someone’s a dealer doesn’t mean they have exceptional knowledge of owning and running these cars day in day out etc lol
M140i and the B58 is a decent package however it’s absolutely horrific when pushing on, no stability and moves around far far too much. Only real weak point in the S55 is the CH.

not going to **** swing about BMW on an Audi forum lol get yaself over to M3cutters if you want to do that lol
I’ve listed my BMWs above. B58 Is a good engine, and I’m fully aware it’s “potential” however it handles like **** and needs a proper diff for the RA. My neighbour actually owns one that’s FBO and is quick ish lol.
I assume that your a traffic light warrior and straightline whip kind of guy, I on the other hand get my cars on track so balance of speed and handling (more handling).
718 GT4 on order so that will take up most of my track work if it ever gets built lol. The LT600 is also an animal on track too, bit sketchy on days like today.
