RS3 latest discounts

As far as l know the RS3 saloon with 400 bhp will make an appearance before the 400bhp hatchback.....said it months ago.

I agree mate.
I reckon the rest of this year will focus on the TTRS and we will not see a RS3 re-launch till 2017.
Audi can then repeat the cycle of mega long waiting times and zero or minmal discounts ... which is what Audi want let's face it.
Also, there is some product overlap between the TTRS and RS3 so that may affect Audi's strategy also.

I wonder if the TTRS will be a similar price to the RS3, if it is i will consider it. Who cares about the passengers its only me and the misses at the minute!

A TTS is the same price as RS3.... Well very similar expect the TTRS to start at :£49000

That's not a similar start price, the RS3 starts at £41,000!

I would rather the practicality and 2 extra seats with £8,000 in me pocket!

If the ttrs is starting at £8k more the the rs3 with much of the same upgrades as the rs3 face lift will have, how much will the new rs3 be priced??!!

Who knows if Harvard a random guess more than it is now but less than a ttrs.

That's if they even make the rs3 again anytime next year...

I think Audi is trying very hard for you guys...=existing owners to keep ya happy,by not releasing the face lift Rs3 sportback soon lol,to be honest it was released too late

49k and need to spec the fixed spoiler and exhaust system as a must IMO. So it's Going to be mid 50s before you know it!

But what is interesting, look at the TTS. Hardly any on the road, hence why they were, and may still be giving you 5k deposit contribution. So what makes them think the TTRS is going to sell well at that level.

I'd also much rather be in a TTRS at say 47k that an rs3 at 47. But that's me

The TTRS like the RS3 is a unique more specialised low volume product in the Audi range so does not set out to sell in high numbers.
I'm sure the TTRS will sell well, just as the RS3 has and before long Audi will have generated a waiting list for this car.
The base price may be £50k but I do agree that to spec one to a decent level most people will be looking at £55k to £60k.
Bigger alloys. matrix lights, sports exhaust, black pack, B&O, paint, privacy glass and god knows what other tantalising extras Audi add to the list all add up :)

Anytime next year? That brand new engine isn't going to make much money back if it's only in the TT RS.... I'm sure Audi are going to want another platform to sell it in ASAP

Who gives a Monkeys Chuff what money Audi make back.....on this engine....One of the biggest Automotive rip off merchants in the world....back on topic l definitely feel 10% will back on the board over the next 3/4 months to get rid of existing stock/existing build slots of which there are quite a few left

Surely the retail on the new one will be around 40k in line with the 'current' model? Have you got a build slot?

Soooooo glad I got mine in 2011; paddle shift it everywhere and I can't believe the amount I'm backing off for others

For sure my RS3 don't need any more with 8.5Js at the front, and MPSS all round (235s on the rear), MTEC rear brake discs, and Redstuff front and rear
WHAT a machine...
I-Like-It.gif
And Facelift minus one i.e., original 8P and very early 2011 build :superman:

In reply to snake pliskin, I put my deposit down after knowing about the facelift. I pick the car up on Friday and on the way home going for a mtm cantronic map to around 415hp for under £1500. As I got over 8% discount totalling over £4K it's costing me nothing for the map as well as a few of the options on the car. if I'd waited for the face lift I honestly can see a 8% discount handed out. And the this time next year probably wouldn't have received it!

You made the right decision !!!!

Great deal and will be ballistic with the map ... You have some very exciting car driving ahead :)

The car is awesome just as is you will love it.

As noted, the wait for a face lift could go well into next year ... so looking forward to enjoying my car this summer too :sunglasses:

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but I was looking at a facelifted S3 saloon a couple of weeks ago and found carwow, carfile and coast2coastcars do fantastic discounts on brand new cars and you deal directly with the main dealer (Audi) without paying the broker any fees.

I was offered 14% discount on a heavily specced (£42k) facelift saloon from Carfile. I was also offered over £6k off list price on a C43 coupe on coast2coastcars and that's without any negotiations...

Hope that helps someone!

And they all said that the discounts would not be available on the face lift , especially the Saloon ! Well done , hope you ordered one ...

Ahh sorry Jassy. I guess that's a bit of a special one but they may do something if you get in touch with them directly. One of the guys from Carfile got in touch with me and said the quoted prices are minimum discounts and they may be able to get a better deal depending on dealer sales quotas/promos etc.

Autoebid is another broker but I didn't continue with them because they charge a fee for their services (the others get 1% commission from the dealer). I had a look on there and they're offering £850 off the base price so with some spec added that should increase :).

I know! Audi were insisting there would be no facelift on the saloon at all this year back in Jan/Feb and then they claimed there would be no discount because demand would be sky high but the discounts are in fact on par with/better than the ones I was seeing in May/June on the pre-facelift. They say whatever they need to say to convince you to buy. Don't believe the hype...discounts are out there!

I was very tempted but after seeing the specs and sheer beauty of the upcoming C43 coupe, I think my S3 days are numbered. I can't justify spending almost £40k on an S3 saloon when I can get a very nicely specced C43 for only £5k more. 367 bhp courtesy of AMG and a superb interior for a little bit more. It'll hold value much better than the 8V S3 is right now too...that coupled with the appalling service I've had from every Audi garage I go to compared with Mercedes dealers seals the deal!

Yeah these price comparison site's are the way forward but unfortunately Audi are not giving dealerships any amount of discount on the Rs3,so we're all waiting on the mythological facelift variant mate...lol
Have you ordered a car yet?

If the A3 Clubsport Concept is anything to go by, the RS3 saloon is going to be an absolute monster! Not yet mate, all things being well, I should be placing an order for a C43 in September. I'm waiting for Mercedes dealers to get some in so I can test drive one first!

Agreed, but the styling will be similar on the RS3 surely? The only real difference should be the power down to 367ps...
