Thanks buddy.
Hi your car looks amazing... which s3 grill badge did you use and was it easy to fit what was the process?Just installed mine a few weeks ago!
If the 2016 RS3 grill is a facelift, which it should be, then no, it won't fit a 2014 PFL S3. Different shaped grills. Can a pre facelift owner sneak in here.
I think I know the answer but have talked myself out of it.
A 2016 RS3 grille would fit a 2014 S3 yea?
thanks

Recieved the rs3 grill today from Alibaba (sincerely Tech) just waiting for a trim piece to finish the ACC cutout

I'm sorry if I'm asking an already answered question. What do you think of the X-uk RS style grille? I have their honeycomb grille on my 8PA and like its look and quality, but the 8V one doesn't have the rings for some reason. Do you think it looks nice or weird without the rings?
Think it looks weird, I'm going for the one from EMD Auto instead with the Audi rings.
If only they did the chrome trim version![]()
I'm looking to do this as I don't like the chrome grille. I wouldnt be keeping the RS3 badge, I just want the black honeycomb grille
Is £500 good price for a genuine RS3 FL grille? I'm just curious what price people consider acceptable before it turnes to a "robbery". I ride a 8PA with an x-uk honeycomb grille and I considered the price of the grille pretty high in comparison to majority of cheaper ebay offers, though I'm glad I chose this one. But now I see that all the styling pieces of an A3 8V are much more expensive than the 8P ones. So, what price of the RS3 grille would you glad to pay and what would turn you away and make to call a seller greedy?I fitted mine last week. Got it off eBay it’s a genuine Audi one for £500 delivered.

I know, but would you pay £500-600 if you wanted this grille or would you choose a cheaper aftermarket one? They cost a lot more from Audi

EMD Auto RS3 grille is $449, add shipping and duties and the price would be approx. £500. In this case, what is a better choice, the EMD Auto or the OEM one (if you could get one for £500-600)?A good quality after market one is not cheaper (e.g. EMD Auto from US). I'd say that's a great price. The cheaper one you can get from Xenonz doesn't have the Audi rings which IMO is essential and the ones from China are okay but I think it's a gamble.

Good point. I never thought about it.None of the aftermarket ones look as good especially around the rings. Most either have solid backing or stick out too far.
