I’ve got all of those with my orderNardo/Black Pack/Black alloys/Pan Roof/Red Calipers (My prefered Spec for looks outside anyway, if not going exclusive route )
In comparison to Vegas everything is rather subdued........Boooooring

Nardo cancel *** have a bit of colour in motoring life lolView attachment 141234
Exactly my reasoning, and personally I've had a fair few brighter coloured cars and prefer the stealthier look.I am so ambivalent about the colour of my car - I have opted for Nardo as its a free colour - my S3 is Navarra Blue and I would love that on my RS3 but not at £2,400!
Then I looked at the other colours and none grab me as being something I want to pay for because they look amazingly better than Nardo.
Sure Ara looks amazingly eye catching but its just too bright and in my face for my liking as an everyday car. Red doesn’t capture my imagination. Neither do the silverish colours. And Black is just well black. Why should I pay extra?!
Nardo is an RS colour - I do think Nardo is quite boy racer as a colour - but I would rather spend money on another feature than paint I don’t want...
If you see in the other thread I am most likely going to change my order in the next few days from Nardo to Ara Blue - and leaning towards aluminium pack.
I just love blue cars and although I think Ara is too bright in general I just can’t have a car that isn’t blue - and I know deep down - I would regret Nardo. Of course this is mainly thanks to @AudiNutta stunning Mica Blue RS3 which reminded me what I love about how my own existing Navarra S3 Saloon looks.[/QUO]
Don't do it! Go black pack with Ara blue. With Alu pack the colour just washes out.
I know it is somewhat of a cliche . But in my expierence your first choice or thoughts are normally right. I’ve changed spec before , influenced by many things (one was the mrs) and I won’t do that again. If you have seen a spec in the flesh and you liked it , then stick with it . Just my experience , whatever you go with will be a top motor none the less.If you see in the other thread I am most likely going to change my order in the next few days from Nardo to Ara Blue - and leaning towards aluminium pack.

I am one of the few that have selected Nardo with alu. Saw it thought it looked good . Will poss black out the window trims , but like the alu on the front. Now that being said , having seen the punchy blue colours over last few days I can totally respect why you would chose them they are stunning. I was looking for something a little more low key.I chose Nardo simply because it was free - I didn’t chose it because I thought it was beautiful.
My feelings toward Nardo and Ara are similar - except Ara is blue and I love blue - and its also crystal so looks great in the sun and Nardo is flat.
I have to say I love the aluminium on the Ara more than black... but I haven’t decided 100% yet - I will probably email my dealer over the weekend to make the change if I do. I am still at stage 10 - and don’t expect stage 20 until Mid December- Start January so plenty of time to change!
Ha .my only other Primer grey was a mk1 ford escort and the grey was genuine primer from a can from the local auto shop. Showing my age? It’s definitly Nardo for me on the RS3... I’m trying to have a different colour on each car I own and so far Primer Grey hasn’t been one of them... plus I think it looks great
My last car was a Nitros Blue Focus RS so pretty out there in terms of a light blue colour
You said it mate, one of the few who has chosen Nardo plus matt aluminium.....and It's so wrong on every level mate...... Might as well do without the matt aluminium packageI am one of the few that have selected Nardo with alu. Saw it thought it looked good . Audi's flat paint Nardo is so soft one of so many reasons not to go for it... Oh l forgot one reason to choose it..... No cost optionIt’s definitly Nardo for me on the RS3... Thankfully we are not all the same . Because I would never suggest anyone’s choice was wrong , on any level. You said it mate, one of the few who has chosen Nardo plus matt aluminium.....and It's so wrong on every level mate...... Might as well do without the matt aluminium package
