Car was in for an oil change on Tuesday. Just thought I would mention Glasgow Audi have a Black Vorsprung Saloon in the showroom. Interestingly there was no stand next to it with a price but was told it is for sale if anyone is interested.

No need for details but was the cost to swap "significant" or not too bad?I will be collecting next Thursday or Friday depending on when my V5 is back from removing my private plate. If I did not already have an RS3 I am sure I would be demanding the car this weekend but as I do I will let them swap the cars when they want.
No cost to me at all and the finance is £20 cheaper each month - however the value of my car in terms of equity wasn’t as high as I expected it to be which would have originally brought down the monthly cost more.No need for details but was the cost to swap "significant" or not too bad?

All of those are lower than the previous car...No cash cost perhaps. The devil with things like PCP is the focus on the monthly payments which ignore higher interest rates and that these are on the balloon as well.
To be fair it was the service guy who said it was for sale.I called them up they said it’s sold hence why there wasn’t a price next to it.
your a glutton for punishment having 2 8Y's in a row with no difference barring the alloy wheel finishNo cost to me at all and the finance is £20 cheaper each month - however the value of my car in terms of equity wasn’t as high as I expected it to be which would have originally brought down the monthly cost more.
Also great to be taking the car at pre-inflation 6.2% interest compared to around 10.7% for new cars now.
Or maybe he actually likes the 8Y RS3 so he's happy to have another newer one built to what he wanted and paying less monthly for it. There are some of us out there that are actually happy owning them and don't mind the black interior, as crazy as that might seem.your a glutton for punishment having 2 8Y's in a row with no difference barring the alloy wheel finish

I don't know why it seems those who actually like these cars have to justify things to certain members on a regular basis. There's no need to be negative with members who are excited about collecting a car they've waited many months for, it's not a good look.Don't forget I have red vents, mats, and the red stitched Alcantara wheel which will all be going in the Vorsprung because I do agree the all-black interior is boring. Those changes really elevate the interior but of course, I love the car. Do I wish it was louder like my 8V? yes, I do. But it is fast, the perfect size for my needs, and is a special car which is still rare and as stated is going to save me money on a brand new zero miles car *although I will miss the red brakes.

On a different note, I'm sure that you'll enjoy it despite losing out on the red brakes, having to hold back a little bit for running it in will probably be the worst part of ownership.
Totally agree, in the first week Ive had the following...It’s certainly a car that divides opinion and not just on here….

Welcome @JONNY RED , Added. Usually 6 to 8 weeks from build start. My guess is you must have been a given a cancelled slot, as there are couple of members from 2021 awaiting build dates.Hi
Please can you add me to the list.
I ordered a Kyalami Green Carbon Black Sportback on 15th January 2022.
Only option was the apaptive suspension.
I was emailed last Tuesday 14th March to say that the build had commenced.
Based on current leadtimes, when should I expect to pick it up?
Cheers
Jon
Must admit I spotted the spec (colour) and date so I align with the thought (and my hope) that I will get a "ping" sometime soon...Welcome @JONNY RED , Added. Usually 6 to 8 weeks from build start. Also, it could imply @Hxslop- (not active since Nov 21), @martin lo and @Phill6666 may also get a ping from their dealers of build commenced for a batch of Kaylami Green cars. Could only hope.!
