Spoken again with my salesman and seemly it may even get pushed back further to the MY24 model..l rang my son on the way and asked about lead times on existing orders and they're in the exact same situation as Audi probably even worse off as the Taycan car factory caught on fire so even longer delays for a new Taycan

Order placed March 2022 asked broker for update on my car this week.. confirmed that I have build week 38 2022..

Though now Audi Exclusive colour has been added to order they have relayed that it will now push it back 8 - 12 weeks.. Not too fussed tbh as it will now give some time to earn an additional NCB and sort out finances.

@ashrs3 , do you wish to be added to the spreadsheet, if so let me know Variant, Body type and dealer.

The longer it takes the better with anyone with a March/April build week .....as they could no doubt run into the MY24 build process and there WILL BE improvements to the car in this build year

Well it's not a race and l wouldn't have any of the colours you've listed above not to my taste come to think of it l wouldn't have wanted the car mid winter anyways but it does **** me off a lot seeing people who've ordered way after other's getting theirs cars quicker Sods law

They're just in a state of being peaved off by waiting so long ....and are at it but all Audi dealers where instructed to tell customers that it COULD take a year to arrive if they chose exclusive paint colours ..... anyways av got another 9 months of NOT paying for a car...always a upside to things

Collected her today. New car detail is scheduled for next week. Couldn’t be happier with the colour, and to be honest I had some sleepless nights hoping I had done the right thing. Car is a thing of beauty and I’m incredibly chuffed with it. Much to learn and discover and hopefully many years of fun.

Had a message from the broker saying that I apparently my build has come forward a massive 10 weeks and I now have a confirmed build week of WK28 for my car... Although I'll take it with a pinch of salt until I hear it's actually in build.

Just had an email from Audi to say that my original order (from April - 2 months ago) is now ‘In Build’. A guy has changed it from Glacier White to Mythos Black. Still in my name with Audi, presumably until it lands at the dealership. Seems incredibly quick and it seems a few strange things are happening now, hopefully good news for people.

Just had an email from audi uk saying my car has gone into build. Dealer said bw is confirmed for week 28. So hopefully has started early. Even then will tell dealer to reg car in september.

Sounds about right confirmation of build 2 to 4 weeks prior to build...... must have a lot of Daytona paint hanging about as it doesn't have any semiconductor chips in it's MIX.....lol

Updated, looks like a batch of Vorsprung - Saloon/Daytona Grey are being built. (@3vans and @K44WMY have had dealer confirmation.)
Similarly @Waq1 and @AjRS3 should ping their dealer for an update, just in case... theirs may also be in build.

Over the last few days since l got the news l have had the desire to have a car back in my life especially when l see any nice car on the roads...So am off to have a look at a specific car on Saturday...To be honest the biggest attraction on the car iv'e ordered is the colour everthing is a mix of like and dislikes yup that interior....so we will see what happens

I wish mate the car l was going to buy has gone/sold l am fooking raging...it was a TTRS Vorsprung Roadster with only 2600 miles on the clock av asked sif at Glasgow Audi my son's friend to keep me in mind for anything similar that comes through in the next 6 months gotta be a fully loaded Vorsprung colour not fussed bar Nardo lol **** waiting for a RS3 8Y.....need a unique RS in my life.... soon Brighton Audi can jam it...

Was advised this last week by my dealer and he said that there are no planned changes. Think there will almost certainly be some changes reducing chip count. Would be happy to lose the round steering wheel and have a flat bottom one instead!! Still no new build week yet but i am expecting the previous 23 08 to change to at least 23 20 if not later.

Join the the 2023 build week club with no MY23 changes and could possibly into MY24 next May...? i am looking for something else....now it's just not worth it waiting 20 months plus
