Just an update today confirmed with dealership my pick up date is the 30th march so the wait is nearly over, I will post some pics up when collected I hope everybody’s orders start to arrive as its been a long wait !

So here it is. Initial impressions are great, but then I’ve only managed a handful of miles.

I asked them not to clean it as it’s off to the detailer shortly and they didn’t so it’s covered in the transport grime. I have to say it’s a lot cleaner than I thought it would be!

Had email from Audi today confirming my build is finished and final checks have been completed. Will see how long it takes to get to the UK. Mine is coming into Sheerness. Will update once arrived.

‘Our work here is done’ on 18/03

I’ve been told collection mid April

so 6 weeks perhaps?

Yeah, having come from an S3 it's definitely a step up. Still in the run in milage so haven't had the chance to give it a good go but was worth the wait for me, got to say, being black I thought it would be horrendous to keep clean but it hasn't been any worse than my daytona S3. Had its first wash earlier.

Looks awesome and like the plate too ! I am really glad I decided to wait and go for Mythos Black too. Will be boat watching now !!

I think mine came off the production line a week after yours, you were very lucky with your delivery.

Worst case 2 weeks, best case 3 days and then a day to prepare car for customer.

Welcome @Johnny Red to our list.
Wow this morning took time due to the volume of cars being built and in transition to our members. Surprisingly it seems the Factory are flushing out orders for UK in large numbers. Wonder if its the same globally as the expected components shortage is not hindering production. Just a wishful thought.
Colours in Build are: Kylami Green, Kemora Grey, Mythos Black, Turbo Blue, Tango Red - so does this mean that their are no more restriction of batching by colours ? Not complaining.
Anyhow.. lets get more build started comments.
We have just crept over the 50% mark on cars ordered now delivered, with a 18month wait!

Congratulations and Pictures please, if its not pouring down with snow or rain.

Yes, should be price locked and guaranteed with locked Apr aswell.

Yep I paid the same price as quoted all those months ago and have the same APR deal so you should be good. The only thing that changed for me was the part exchange price on my Golf. 18 months later and with 10,000 additional miles I lost £2000!

I wasn’t but then I didn’t ask. I have bought a three year service pack for £14 ish a month. That’s a tenner less than my Golf R.
With the part number supplied by @8YARWY i ordered the RS boot liner which they didn’t charge me for.
