Rpm IDLE rises and falls every minute 1 audi s3 8v

I have a very annoying problem in my car recently
Vehicle in idle mode (Stand at a traffic light or anywhere) D/N/P/R
The vehicle is rpm 700 rounds - And this is normal
And this is normal
After 50-60 seconds.
My vehicle raises a motor rotation to 800 RMP
After 50-60 seconds, it returns to 700 RPM
And so it happens every 40-60 seconds (varies)
If my engine rotations cost 800 RMP
I turn off my car and turn it on right away and he get back to 700 rmp.
After 40-50 seconds it again costs 800 rmp

I can not figure out where my problem is.
I was glad to get advice on what should I check ??

Is your aircon running?

The variation in RPM maybe linked to heating / cooling demand from the aircon controller or demand for charge from the alternator.

Either way I wouldn't be too worried about it.

The tick over RPM on my 1.5 can hunt around a bit.

The air conditioner does not work neither heating nor cooling
It is very annoying to me
I have to solve it
Do you have another idea?

As the previous person said, it does this dependant on lots of factors. TBH I can't understand why you find this such a problem.

My manual A3 was doing this and when the revs rose, the automatic handbrake would turn off (not ideal). They replaced the neutral gear sensor and it seems to have fixed it

This does sound like it could be a sensor problem.

I had a similar problem a few years ago on a V5 VW Beetle my wife had - it turned out to be a faulty temperature sensor causing the ECU to think the engine was cold intermittently

It could also perhaps be a lambda sensor judging by the mileage (km) you have done. Have you noticed an increase in fuel consumption?

If yes then you may have to consider taking it to a dealer or decent independent garage to look for fault codes.
