It looks like Route 5 has opened it's doors at the old little cheif location where the A38 meets the M5.

They have a large enough car park, food, drinks and petrol.

Whos up for meeting up there in the next month or two?

I've not really thought of a date.
Just gauging rough interest.
I'm going to pop up this weekend and see what the parking space it like (It's grand opening was yesterday) and let you all know.

Can't do that weekend camping over maker fields then work Sunday night. Hopefully if this gets a decent turnout we can get some regular SW meets on the go.

Turns out I'm not camping that weekend anymore. But there is a king car meet in Plymouth Saturday night and the modified mania show in Taunton on Sunday. (also I need to check this section more often)

The last one was pretty cool, you get the usual kev'ed up civics trying to do burnouts etc but do get some really nice cars there as well, the last meet a few months back 2 beetles (a oval window and '76) and a mk1 escort won best in show. Im going along in my a3 8l, think i've managed to pursuade my old man to bring his triumph stag up as well. think around 400 cars turned up last time.

They announce the place closer to the date but the last 3 i think have been at B&Q up near Deriford
