This is my first post. But I'm really struggling with this fault. I would appreciate if someone could help me with a way to sort this out thank you.
My 2008 A3 8p is the 1.8 tfsi ea888 engine and it was remapped when I bought it to 220bhp but the hpfp failed after 6 months of ownership and also the runner flaps were stuck so I replaced the hpfp withawith the newest revision from Audi. And it started having a rough cold start and misfires until warm then runs perfectly.
So I removed the runner flaps about 2 weeks later and about 1 month after that upgraded the intake, intercooler, spark plugs, and r8 coil packs then had it remapped again to take into account the changes. But it still had a rough start. I then also changed the PCV valve and that did improve it a bit.
But it is still there I don't know what to do. I'm thinking now either injector or O2 sensor.
