Roof Fin

What means that the roof fin is fitted?

I have seen Sat Nav, fitted and without Sat Nav it fitted. I have also seen DAB radio not fitted which makes me think that it's mobile phone prep that could also have the roof fin...?
Any ideas?

I am basing my theories on the photos I have seen and details given on the Audi website for used cars.

It can be phone, gps for nav or aux heater remote on.

As above, but not all phone preps have the roof fin. The latest 2010 bluetooth low option doesn't have it. The bluetooth low option with handset in armrest has an external antenna, as do the high options.
