Hi Guys and Girls,

Had my S3 8P1 for around 6months now but getting a bit fed up with having an AUX lead coming from the centre of the car.

What have people replaced the original system with and how difficult has it been to change as I know my previous Audi had adapters to make it fit??
Ideally looking for Bluetooth system so now cables around the car.

Cheers.

Hello @LewisG93 - unfortunately the RNSE doesn’t offer anything Bluetooth. Even if your S3 has BT hands free, it works for mobile only so there’s not much to upgrade to. It will take SD cards but this isn’t ideal.

You’re options are the Viseeo WMA3000 BT adapter or an aftermarket Android unit, Xtrons for example.

Thanks, I kind of guess there wouldn’t be anything for Bluetooth,
May look into a new replacement Pioneer do a nice Apple Car Play system was just wondering if people had experience with any systems that are any good.
Had Xtrons in my previous Audi just required an adapter to get it to fit.

Cheers again.

@maxpayne looks very neat that’s the pioneer one I was looking at...how difficult was it to fit and did you need any adapter or anything??

It’s plug and play if you use the correct looms. The two main things you’ll want are:

1. http://www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CTSAD00C.2 - is the adapter with steering wheel integration. Has both ISO and quad lock connectors
2. http://www.connects2.com/Product/ProductItem/CT23AU08 - the fascia

If you want DAB, you’ll also need to buy a DAB antenna and for FM, an FM adapter.

Best option is to call up https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk and order the parts. They will be a few quid more expensive than the the cheapest eBay sellers but you’ll know you’ll get the right adapters the first time around.
