Rnse sds confusion

Hello,

I have a 2008 s3 originally had a mk1 rnse installed with multi function steering wheel and Bluetooth.

Have recently installed a new can gateway and rnse mk2 from a 2010 tt.

I am now wandering how I go about getting sds working.

The rnse is 'H' model and from searching it seems I code telephone differently but this just stopped the voice button working all together until changed back.

Is there an updated disc I need? SW 200 is showing on unit.

SDS isn't a software hack like the MK1 RNS-E was, its hardware based.

So why does it not work on the H model? I've read it's supposed to work on C and H?

Does something else need coding?

Maybe because you havnt rewired the mic, as it appears you didn't have SDS before???

No I haven't rewired anything... I thought the mic was wired correctly if Bluetooth is fitted? What pins need moving and I will take a look to see if they are in the right place. Normal control of the phonebook through mic works.

Mic has to be rewired to the rns then back out to the BT module, research the forum as its been discussed a fair bit.
