RNSe Mk 2

Hi, I am looking to upgrade the RNSe sat nav in my B7 to the newer RNSe Mk 2 the newer A3 unit will work but needs the facia panel changed, has anyone done this and is it straight forward to convert, will the TT Mk2 also work .

Yep pretty straightforward. As far as I know the TT is the same, yes. There's a decent guide somewhere. I'll try and dig it out. Only issue I had was some very small screws that were made out of cheese (or might as well have been) - when removing the LCD frame.

I swapped the facia plate off my original RNS-e when I upgraded to the Mk2 out of TT.

Was easy enough but then again I lucky and can turn my hand to almost anything. Once done all you need to do is code it to the A4 as the settings are totally different.
