Hi All,

I have fitted my rnse unit and all is working well expect the GPS. When using the sat nav it tells me i have 7 satellites, but my position is always around 50 meters behind of where i am, and then when i change direction it goes off road.

I have done some searching into this and people mention that it could be do with your wheel size and changing settings in vag com.

I then went into engineering mode to see what settings i had:

Could someone please tell me if there right?

I have also seen that people are saying that you need to drive for several hundred miles for it all to calibrate.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Ryan

Just drive it around for a day, it will settle mate, you have to give it a bit of time as its always of by that much when 1st connected up.

Ahh ok brilliant, just wasnt sure if i had missed a setting that was causing it to be out

Yeah as Nige said, common this is, people thinking there is something wrong. There is a setting in adaption that allows you to put your correct wheel size, but from experience and am sure others will back me, most people leave this as the satnav will soon calibrate it self.

Dont panic mate, you will be fine.

Thanks im feeling alot better about this now :)
