Guys I retro fitted an RNS-E unit 18 months ago and i'm having an issue where the disc has become scratched again, and the unit won't read the disc, anyway the question is what is the diff between the unit I have 'c' and the latest 'q' version, and does anyone know where I can get one rather than flee bay?

They will have different hardware versions inside them but this doesnt really make any great difference to how they work. I think some people believe that the later units like the Q will process nav instructions and re-calculations quicker than say a C unit. Even if they do they can only be fractions of second between them.

My A4 has a Q and my dads has a C, I cant tell any difference in the speed and functionality of them.

If you dont want an Ebay one then they do come up for sale on here or the classified section of navplus.us from time to time.
