RNS-E Repair (Laser) help

Good evening everyone,

I have had disk read problems on my RNS-E in my Audi A3. I have tried to repair the laser (clean it) myself by taking it apart.

However i now appear to have a loose part that i have no idea where it came from.

It is a circle plate as follows

You might want to PM @NHN as he is the rns-e guy and i am sure he would be able to fix it if you havr any more problems with it .
