RNS-E question...

Hi all

Can the 'Power up' volume be changed on the RNS-E unit.
Mine is far too loud when the unit is first turned on with the ignition :-(

Also the cd changer in the boot keeps going back to CD1 Track 1 when the car is re-started and won't play from it's previous point when the ignition is turned off! Grrrrrrrr

the power up volume is based on the audio pilot function as far as i know and its a pr1ck of a thing...

many threads on that and an audi TSB on how to disconnect it. involves cutting wires to the amp though so not that keen myself and just live with it...

I was hoping it may be resolved changing a setting with vcds but it appears that's not the case.
Your right, it's a pain in the *** as I'm forever turning the volume down each time I start the car, so much for modern technology eh!!!
