Rns-e Problem

Hi

I have fitted an rns-e unit in my car today, i changed the unit from the symphony 2 setup as the volume used to fluctuate up & down slightly so i thought there was a fault with the old unit. I am now having the same issues after fitting the rns-e unit so would be very grateful if any of you guys had any suggestions as to what the issue may be, amp in the boot springs to mind but only a guess.

Do you have a MFSW? Perhaps it is a faulty volume knob..
Or maybe a GALA issue...

Do you mean the volume wheel on the steering wheel? I've now noticed that it only appears to have the issue whilst on the radio but not on cd or sd mp3. I keep thinking along the lines of the aerial or reception as it did the same with the symphony unit prior to this. I need to do some more investigation
Forgot to mention but i cannot find any gala settings anywhere in the settings if that matters?

If it only affects radio then it won't be gala or a faulty volume knob. Sounds like a reception issue..
