RNS-E poor radio reception S4 Cabriolet

Hi guys

Been on a few longer drives out of London recently and its really starting to annoy me. I find that as soon as I leave London I can't pickup any radio other than BBC 2 or 3. Been like this since I've had the car but wondering if I can fix it. Wires are all firmly in the back of the stereo.

Looking around there seems to be these ISO boosters. Do they work? Radio is stock RNS-E.

Was the nav retrofitted?

No I don't think so it's a 2007 I'm pretty sure it's the stock unit.

Could be antenna amps or wiring damaged if its not been retrofitted.
