hey guys,

i have just purchased and S4 B6 cabriolet which i believe has the RNS-E fitted. it also has an ipod connector coming out from behind the handbrake

my problem is that i plug it into my ipod, which charges so the connection is good, but cant get it to play through my stereo

it also has 2 memory card slots behind the screen but when i put a memory card in either slot, it says reading but never finds any music, all music on it is in mp3 format

any help would be greatly appreciated

It may not be a proper connector. I thought someone had put one in the little cubby hole next to the steering wheel on mine, charged the same as yours, i took the trim off and found someone had just wired in an adaptor and plugged in a cig lighter charger. get taking stuff apart to check

It might be aux-in. Select CD/TV >SOURCE >AUX. Turn the volume up on the iPod.

thanks for the help, i dont know what kind of connection it is, but when i was searching radio stations with the ipod connected and playing it found the ipod on a channel, so it works through that
