Rns e head unit does it require a code ?

I am about to remove my RNS E head unit and swap it out for a Zenec 520 so as i can add ipod and bluetooth with out all the hassle of adding more and more parts. before i remove the OEM head unit do i need to check any codes etc displayed in the unit.

Does the unit require a code if i put it back in or does it just boot up on refit ?

It will deffinately need a code if fitting to another vehicle. Should be fine to refit into yours again. What rnse version is it?
