Stuart is a good guy and a great detailer.

Never had any issues with Norwich Audi, good service and have used Gareth Woodgate to buy my last two Audi’s, nice fella.

Is that an S4 in your profile pic, don’t see many around Norfolk?

Yes I guess if someone really wanted the plate they could unclip the holder, I’ve got some double sided tape also to keep it secure but not fool proof if you gave it a good tug!

S badge is recessed in the trim.

I have used Norwich Audi when they were in Heigham Street still with VW. They were the 1st dealership in the country to split into separate Audi & VW dealerships, as I understand, as part of an experiment.
I do get on well with the service and parts departments. I have never managed to buy a car from them though!
Stuart is due a visit in the next couple of weeks for a bit of maintenance.
I have a B8 RS4 you don't see too many of those either especially in Prism Silver.

Yes clicked on your profile after I asked the question and could see it was an RS4...stunning car mate :icon thumright:

Can’t remember them being on Heigham Street, recall them having premises near the old cattle market, my mate bought a couple of mk1 S3’s in the early 2000’s from there.

Mine was due a maintenance detail a few months back but then the snow hit so had to postpone! Must get her booked in again soon with Stuart.

I’ll keep an eye out for your RS4 :racer:

Fitted the BMC air filter today (thanks @zippster ).

A quick blast and you can definitely hear a bit more induction noise which is a bonus.

So these arrived today, oem CF replacements and a bargain at £175!

Waiting to receive my ECS CF front lip overlay expected Thursday before fitting both followed by the fog grill overlays in October :relaxed:

Fitted the RS grill yesterday, what a difference, love it!

Paid a specialist garage to fit as needed the parking sensors and other bits behind the grill painting black, they did an amazing job.

Looking good. May I ask how much you paid for the fitting? I've asked a local non audi garage and they charge £55+vat per hour and they think it might take them 2-3h to do the job.
Where did you get your grille from?

Thanks, I’m over the moon with it.

Paid £120 + vat, took about 3 hours and that included the painting of the sensors, crash bar and foam, they were excellent and specialize in car customizations.

Grill sourced from a guy on group chat via DTUK tuning, I’m not sure if he’s on here but let me just check with him and I’ll pass on his details mate.

Bradwell mate, so I just tell people near Norwich haha. And no, definitely don't. I was "driving alongside" a B8(?) S5 the other day, boy was that quick.. put me to shame lol

haha, same! I live near Dereham but always say Norwich.

Really?? Couldn’t have been stock? Get yourself a tuning box, has transformed mine, the torque is immense!!

People only seem to recognise Norwich!

Yeah, definitely wasn't stock. I'd love to get mine tuned but I'm young, and the insurance is expensive as is.. I would absolutely love to but don't fancy spending £10k+ on insurance a year

Fair enough mate, be thankful you’ve got an awesome motor though.

I’ve never tuned a car before but the DTUK box really transforms the performance, around 410 bhp with recorded 0-60 times of sub 4 seconds...RS4 territory!

What colour is your S4?

I've heard good reviews of the DTUK box. My dad's got an A5 which he wants tuned, so might look at grabbing one of them for his. 410bhp with just a tuning box is ridiculous.. RS4 for a fraction of the price!

Mines glacier white, black wheels and red callipers. I originally wanted a Daytona A5, but this popped up last week and I was instantly in love. Sold my A3 to a bloke from Scotland on Monday, he was here and gone within about 10 minutes haha.

He has a choice of grills, all black with silver lettering etc, I went silver surround as have the chrome trim.

They’re all from China but pretty good quality and fitment was really good according to the garage. If you get one then highly recommend SBC Customs in Barnham Broom to fit it.

Thanks mate, I'll have to see what he has available. I'll probably go with the black since I've got the black edition.

SBC look like they're not too far away. I'll take a look at the grille options next week and will maybe give them a call. Thanks again
