Revs locking

Hi,

If I accelerate hard from 1st into 2nd gear sometimes its as if my car hasn't gone into gear properly. If I push the accelerator down the revs go up but the car does not move forward (pull). Its as if it is stuck in this for about 5secs or so before it actually pulls normally.

Any ideas what this could be? I was told the DPF and bought some Wynns DPF cleaner but didn't seem to solve the issue.

Sounds like clutch slip.

You'll normally get the clutch and flywheel done for around £1k.
It might be worth bleeding the clutch first to make sure it isn't the actuator-that is grasping at straws a bit though.

To make sure it is the clutch slipping and not anything else, if you've got vcds log your engine speed and output shaft speed/wheel speed while this happens. Then calculate what your wheel speed should be doing via the gear ratio. Overlay your two plots and see if they tie up.
