There was a batch of Revo/Pipercross filters where the factory had an issue with the glue, as I think you saw me mention earlier.

If you do have a filter that the rubber trim starts to peel on, then simply get it exchanged via your Revo dealer - http://www.revotechnik.com/dealer-locator

Sorry for any inconvenience.

A mate has just swopped over from my Pipercross panel filter,
within the OEM Box,now removed, to a Pipercross open filter
using the Mk Hose from the turbo inlet.
He didn't want to over mod the fitting, just so it can be changed
back to normal later.
This included the heat shield which I will need to look at and add my own version.
Yes,Probably it is taking in hot air from the engine at the moment, due
to the small air inlet through the grille!
But the whoosh on change up is lovely! Working in harmony with my DTUK Box,
and Forge Turbo Delete, improving turbo spool and response.
Result- Very Happy

As long as the S1 isn't build date post April 2015, then you can upgrade to a complete software file now Pete - http://www.revotechnik.com/product-details/software/audi/s1/195/stage-1/ be good to hear your feedback after having a fully software file on it if you do decide to up the game. Stage 2 coming very soon too, as we've been running Stage 2 on our BETA cars for a good number of months now.

Hi Pete, The filter swap is along with Stage 2 Revo? If yes, have you replaced the OEM clutch?
