Revo Air Intake Fitted

Cheers Alex! Have you fitted it yet any updates? I had a look on their facebook page yeah see pricings for anyone interested Complete kit £349.95 inc VAT or without the heat shield £299.95.So that's 70quid cheaper than the REVO CAI kit. Hmm interested to see how it performs!
All booked in...pictures etc to follow when the work is done.

AMD Essex I gave them a call today asking for some details regarding the intake and they could not tell me much details so I asked if they plan to do any tests and this is what they said.
Well...they'll have mine to play with soon enough.....already have the figures for 2bar on the ITG intake, but the problem is mine pulls timing and boost on the RR,and it's likely to be an issue with the Haldex and the type of RR being used,so it may prove difficult.
.
What we do also know is the car doesn't pull either on the road, which again points to the RR as the issue,so it may come down to some road logging.

Afternoon all,

Just to clear up any confusion, these filters (as pictured by S3Alex) were developed inconjuction with us and AS. We work very closely with Auto Specialists with our BTCC projects and road car products for the VAG range.

The induction kit is exclusively avaliable from us, our website is just being updated with information as well as being made available for online orders or you can call us to book in for fitting.

It really is a great bit of kit, fits well, looks great and boasts 90mm pipework! We can also offer a full choice of silicone hoses colours too!

sorry forgot to add its not mine engine bay just wanted to show how it looks in flesh. There is more photos on AMD Essex facebook page if anyone interested. I will be ordering mine tomorrow as the VWR Intake that is fitted atm is going back on warranty due to high LTFT.

Do you know if anybody around Nottingham would fit something like this?

Any decent proof / reviews on the amd induction kit for a 2011 s3 8p? Considering getting one but don't want to waste money of they are no good. Narrowed it down to revo or amd....

Revo consists of a single pipe and so no joins to cause turbulence. Also the Revo bends are more gradual than the AMD 90 degree bends.
i have seem some cars running AMD systems with the pipework rubbing on other components under the bonnet. Too much restriction can cause the mounting lug on the top of the engine to snap off.
The highly respected tuner at R -Tech will fit you a Revo, not an AMD.
Here is mine but you will see that I have changed the Revo foam to a Green cotton filter.

Thanks for review! And notice what your saying regarding the 90 degree bends. Looking like a revo kit is best then? With green cotton filter. Yeah have heard good things from r tech and also them green cotton filters. No heat shield tho?... Where are r tech based? Is it Birmingham way? Thanks

R-Tech are in Hinckley. I have an extra heat shield above the turbo and have not bothered so far with the Revo supplied heat shield at the front. I noticed that none of the big power S3s in recent editions of Performance Audi has a shield at the front so I left mine off!

I'm based near Liverpool and was wondering who is best to remap that is fairly local. If r tech is Birmingham that's not too bad at approx 2hrs away. I have a 2011 with 30k on clock. Any parts to check before remap / induction-kits
Yeah fair enough regarding the heat shield. Interested to know about heat shield on turbo.... By the way I completely new to modding cars and not experienced with them either, please excuse me Hahaha but impressed with the quick / helpful replys
