Hey Everyone,

I am looking to purchase some AngelWax to treat my Misano Red Audi A3 and make her shine! Ive seen lots of good reviews but wondered if anyone on here had tried it and had anything to say about it? All things - good or bad appreciated

Thanks lovelies

Can't say I've tried it myself, but Iftar reviews seem good might be worth a shot. You normally always here about it if something is bad.

Plenty wads on the market my favourite is blackfire, ideal for mid tones and dark.

I found all the Angelwax products I`ve tried to be good

@laudavis - I have got a pot of Angelwax Desirable (which I am reliably informed is Auto FInesse Desire wax, altho' I have no evidence to support this) but haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, so I suppose that's no good for you lol

Best wax for reds IMO is Victoria Wax Concours red. Absolutely fab wax to work with IMO

If you're feeling a bit flush Laura, how about a BMD wax. 33% off till the weekend, so be quick ;)

I have heard some people apply wax with their fingers/palms and others with an applicator - what do you guys do? xx
@laudavis - I've heard that applying wax to a car by hand can be very therapeutic but I've never done it that way TBH
Always use a damp Megs foam applicator to apply any of my waxes myself

I prefer to use a dampened microfibre pad, each to their own :friendly wink:

Apparently the warmth of you're hands and exposure to air acts as a catalyst which help break down the enzymes that are in waxes allowing the wax to be applied to the surface and begin curing. Pads also absorb some of the good stuff that's in waxes.

Mainly higher end waxes would be applied like this. I've once did it with a pot of swissvax crystal rock. Not a whole car but a bit of it. It is therapeutic but can take a bit of time.

Just thought i would let everyone know that AngelWax has been amazing I bought some Fifth Element stuff from them and it works like an absolute dream - you dont need much and the shine is like glass! Customer service from them was amazing too! Would recommend to anyone :) cheers x

Hi LD, my new S3 will be treated with Angelwax kit by the pro detailer who will be doing a new car detail on it this week. It's a bit cheaper than Gtechniq but very good finish. Not sure how often it needs topped up compared to GT but will ask !! Enjoy the shine !
