Reverse Sensor part no:

Been looking on line for a new reverse parking sensor, but some have different manufacture codes.
How can i find out what the code of my sensor on the car is before i buy a new one. Will i have to remove it to see if the code is on the sensor first.

vcds.......should tell you which ones faulty,maybe a part number aswell, i got one off e-bay last year,for my q7 for £24 and it was spot on,dealer wanted £83

Cheers VW , i know which one is at fault, ill plug my VCDS in and see if it gives me a serial/part number

You wont get a part number for the sensor with any diagnostic software.

it be stamped on the sensor,pull out the faulty one ,and have a look
