I understand this is a fairly niche question, but asking nonetheless.

Has anyone managed to successfully calibrate the reverse camera (R8 module) using VCDS? I have printed the calibration sheet and followed the Ross Tech wiki, but calibration fails.

There are videos using ODIS, which I do not have.

Thanks

From my knowledge you need to calibrate using the dominos board (white board with black spots in certain locations) to be able to carry out the calibration process.

Yeah, I have printed it out, lined it up etc, but there is always a reason why it fails (not always the same reason). Just wondered if it was actually possible with vcds as I haven't come across anyone succeeding with VCDS

Bumping this in case anyone has attempted this since I asked before. I have tried through VCDS and VCP but not ODIS, which is my next idea if I can find somewhere local who has it and will give it a try
