Rev limiter after custom exhaust?

cant Rev pass 4000 rpm after back box delete on AUDI a3 1.4tfsi in neutruel?

Yes I could. In gear car is fine goes all way to redline but not in neutruel. However if car is rolling in neutruel it will go pass 4k ? It's really strange

Are you sure it used to rev past 4k before in neutral I don't think it's meant to it's just a safety thing

Sorry I lied I don't know whether it went pass 4k or not before exhaust.

Why you would want to rev it in neutral is beyond me as the engine isn't under load.

Just wanted to test exhaust. Because on my s3 there wasnt a Rev limiter. I could Rev pass 4k in neutruel
