Facelift Retrofitting rear view cam without navigation?

So I just went to double check that the module actually had 12V.
It does, but on pin 10 of the connector. In this guide that I followed when installing it shows the module getting 12V on pin 9:
Pin 10 is "terminal 30" which I don't know what means. But my 12V is there.
Or does it mean that the module sends out 12V to the camera on pin 9? Because the pictured connector is the male one in the module not the female connector on the cable itself.

Control Module 10 - Park/Steer Assist = Change Byte 2 from 04 to 05.
Change the following in 5F to: New Value = Comfort Data Bus
Once changed three finger reset your MMI unit and then test.
The above should actually have 2 or maybe 3 possible new values. If Comfort Data Bus does not work then try changing to the other possible new value, might be something like "Databus Infotainment" from memory, three finger reset the MMI and test again.

You mean change this value right?
If I change it to 05, exit out of the window and press "do it" then this error appears:
Changed to Comfort Data Bus, reset MMI and nothing :/
Also tried Databus Infotainment, reset MMI but nothing then either.
Maybe because I couldn't code byte 2?

Could be due to the 10 Byte 2 issue. Try this... Access 10 > Long Coding. In the main long coding screen copy the "current coding" and paste it in to the "new coding" box, then change the 4 to a 5 and hit do it. Make sure that your engine is off but key in first position, and that all doors are closed but not locked.

Just spotted something. Go in to control module 10 > long coding > Long coding helper > Byte 2. Make sure:
- Bit 0 = Active / Ticked
- Bit 2-3 = 04 Display and Operating Protocol (BAP) v4.0 active
- Bit 4-5 = 10 Camera Type: Rear View Camera (RVC) installed

I just realized something when looking at the PDF in your signature, specifically the visual parking aid mod.
Even though my module 10, Byte 2, Bit 0 is ticked I don't get any visual indication on the screen either when in reverse. That should at least work, right?

Actually I forgot we are talking about a FL momentarily when I made the comment above. The coding for Visual Parking Display on FL cars is still an unknown. I am trying to reverse engineer my own FL car which has both front and rear sensors + camera without breaking anything. Taking time due to workloads and cold weather.
Update!
I just went over the coding again and found a few errors actually.
Looked through the coding part of the guide i linked to earlier in the thread and turns out that Node_0x6c was set to "not coded". Changed it to coded, and then module 37 Navigation was added automatically again so I had to remove it from the installation list again..
Actually I didn't think to check if Byte 19 Bit 1 of 5F was set to Inactive. Maybe I should check this as well?
Then I went into long coding on module 6C and noticed that Byte 4 Bit 5 wasn't ticked even though I have auto trans so ticked that as well. However, the RVC still doesn't work
Tried all the VPS channel variations again (with MMI reset in between) but no luck.
Anyway, here is the latest auto scan. One thing I noticed is that on the 6C module, "Shop" is set to WSC 12345 while on all the other modules except auto trans it's set to 06314. Don't know if this is important.

Did some further digging and communications with the module has to be okay seeing as I can receive measuring values:
The angle responds to the steering wheel etc.
However, look at the reading in yellow. This happens when I put the car in reverse. What does this mean?
Also, is 6V the correct voltage supply for the camera?
I also noticed something while looking over Advanced ID:
Flash date and data are set to all 0's. I remember reading something about this, that it was caused by a bad firmware reset or something similar.
When selecting any channel in adaptations, every channel returns "Channel unavailable". But maybe it's supposed to be this way?
Also checked this value again and it was reset to "not coded" so I changed it back and reset the MMI yet again but nothing.

Going from everything you have posted and that we have been through so I believe your module / camera to be ok. Strange that your equipment / PR Code is showing as all zeros though, but as your long coding from your auto scan is not zeros I believe all is fine. Thats the good news. Bad news... approx 2 weeks ago I finally had some time in order to get to work on my own car, mods and some coding works. While coding I noticed some new settings within my FL that I need you will need to have set in order to get your camera working. Unfortunately the settings in question cannot be changed via VCDS. You are gonna need access to someone with VCP or ODIS. I forget, where abouts are you located?

I see! I'm located in Norway. Maybe I can ask Audi to code it for me on my next (first) service visit?
However if I tell them I've installed the RVC myself I guess they'll write down that the warranty is void? (at least on the electronics?)

Audi would code it for you but my guess is that they will charge you a fee. They will not void any warranty but they will make a note of the install and if you have any issues which could be related they might get funny.

Bump! This thread is old now, but I still haven't gotten around to making the camera work.
I had the car in for a service (at my local Audi) late last year and had them try to code in the camera. They weren't able to because they needed the "S-CODE" for the control module. They said that I should have gotten this code when I bought the module but I didn't.
I contacted the store where I bought the camera and they told me that this code wasn't needed.
So now I wonder what I'll have to do to make this work. Audi says they need this code, but how on earth can I get it?
Another weird thing is that the camera works occasionally, like every once a month I get a live feed from it when in reverse.
