Retrofit autofolding RS5 mirrors?

Hi guys

I’m considering retrofitting autofolding mirrors to my 2015 RS5.

I presume you just need the mirrors, VCDS and the different door card?

also is there any different between mirrors on the range from 2010-2015? I know the S3 has different shaped mirrors after facelift

while I am at it, might fit dynamic indicators and carbon mirror caps.

@Woob you'll need facelift folding mirrors 2012-16
Modules in the doors must be suitable, you'll see an area on them that is either half grey or full grey, you need full grey. You'll see what I mean when you have look at them.

No need for full door card, only the plastic part with folding mirror switch, or you can drill out the hole on your existing one.
Of course, you'll need folding mirror switch, and VCDS Coding once completed.

I'd go for the Dynamic mirror indicators, oh, I have them

Carbon mirror covers is a personal preference, it's your car after all.

Let me know if you need comparable modules, I may have two for sale.

Thanks for the reply. I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to retrofitting so am starting from scratch.

Where are the modules located so I can check?

I'm guessing it;ll be about £500 start to finish?

Modules are located behind the door card, you can't miss them, all the wires in the door go into them.

Depends on how much the folding mirrors are, you maybe lucky and pick the lot up for a good price from a local scrappy. Ebay tends to be expensive, but depends on how much you're willing to pay.

Luckily my modules are the correct ones.
I've sourced the mirrors but can't find the door card panel for the life of me. All of the ones for sale dont have the folding mirror option
Anyone have a part number?

@Woob you don't need a full door card, it's just the folding mirror switch. Plenty for sale on the bay.

I've managed to get one. just need the switch now. Wondering if the B9 switches are also compatible? they look the same
