Hi guys can I fit nav into my 09 sline avant ? I'm happy with DIY work but wondering if the loom is capable ? I.e for the centre console ? I've seen a few set ups on eBay and very tempted .

the full kit is over 2500 without fitting
the ones on the bay dont have any looms and im not sure if you can buy them on there own

iv been looking into the link above and from what i can tell it blends perfect with the oem stuff in the B8

No, working on an A3 is very simple, you pull out the current unit, install a GPS antenna and maybe a few minor tweaks depending on fitment of Bose, BT etc and then just drop the new unit in. It will also need to be coded using VAGCom or similar, but the parts should be circa £500.
The problem with the A4 is that it is built into the dash as modular units rather than the 'headunit' design of the A3.
