As already seen in this forum, it's posible to retro-fit a whole host of toys. Sat-nav, cruise control, glovebox 6cd etc. I have 2 questions now:
1.) Is it possible to retro-fit the power socket in the boot? Is the wiring already there, because the socket can be bought from vag-parts?

2.) Is it possible to retro-fit isofix anchors?

Thanks for the help.

you can fit the airbag de activation in the front passenger seat but not the metal anchors in the seats.

They are welded into the seat frame in the front seat, and part of the rear sheet metal work in the back.
This is confirmed by the main dealer also.

Very interesting!; My dealer may have been telling me porkies!...
Looking at those, they are not the same as the factory fit look so they must be an aftermaeket type idea. Still pretty sure you cant do the front seat though but then again, you probably wouldnt need to.
I'll have a look on ETKA and see if they are listed .

Part nos for Isofix rear :-

B6 Chassis

8E0 813 545 Left Isofix
8E0 813 546 Right Isofix
8L0 837 453 Torx Bolt

B5 Chassis

8D0 813 545 Left Isofix
8D0 813 546 A Right Isofix
8L0 887 233 Fitting Sleeve
8L0 837 453 Torx Bolt

If you just do a search for isofix nothing comes up, this is probably why main dealers say it is not available. B5 brackets are £34 each (+VAT)
