Does anyone know how complex it would be to fit an Audi RNS-D Sat Nav into my 2004 A6?

I see them for sale and quite fancy up-grading the existing equipment and was wondering whether it's as simple as plug and play and whether additional kit is required?

Any advice/experiences would be gratefully received.

Cheers,

If you have Symphony system it will be almost p&p but if you have single DIN radio it will cost you some £££ and work.

changing the dash bracket from a single to double is gonna be the hardest job, to do a 'factory' install your need a new bracket, new climate control unit and ashtray plus other odd bits.
apparently the existing climate unit can be modified to fit, so that would save a lot, but i would guess at nearly £200 for the bracket and bits.

Have a look on Google has all been done before,
not much info on this link but the pictures give you an idea of what you need to do
