currently I have a delete pipe fitted which is blowing at the rear clamp where it was cut, the question is when it comes to it's MOT next month would this be classed as a serious leak and be failed or would it just be an advisory ?

My guess would be fail...regardless though, why not get it fixed??
Don't want to go down the route of welding permanently as need to be able to refit resonator at later date so not sure of how better to seal leaks, I know by the cut on the resonator that it wasn't cut that straight so imagine there is a big gap inside the clamp where the pipes join

Mine was welded on, it is reversible just takes a bit longer to remove

Undo it and use some exhaust paste to reseal it!

I got some from euro car parts and it’s great stuff came in a tube like silicone does.
