reset service light

Sorry if there are heaps of threads for this already. How can I reset my service light? I have a 2010 (60) a3 tdi.

I had a look through the A3 how to and I couldn't see anything that pointed how to do a service reset.
I think this is what you need.

The method above doesn't seem to work on 2009 models onwards?

I have a 58 plate 2009 and have the same issue as Kirsty.

All the solutions I've found on here are for the earlier models it would seem?

'07 and later cars use the UDS protocol so it's vcds or a visit to the stealers.

The SRI function in vcds doesn't work on these clusters - the channel adaptions need to be done manually.
