replacing turbo!!

ok doke, my s3 been doing my head in for few weeks,, has high pitch squeel and now im beggining to think it is the turbo,, now not really had it jack up n looked from underneath ect but really how much of a C**T is it to change,, my mates ibiza's engine was out when he replaced his so was very straight forward,, any tips/advice would be much appreciated,,,, oooo,, and where best place to get rebuild/replacment?? cheers sean

Very akward, but can be done, you would not need a jack as it is all done from above...

aww is it ? i thought id maybe need to take the downpipe off,, ill get a price from my local garage and if its not to steep ill let them fit it! ha,

Yeah you need to disconnect the DP but not remove it.....sandip on here got a good price....see the thread from today
