Hey guys,

Time to ask another question, sorry!

Thinking of changing the seats in my A3, when changing over what precautions do I have to take to avoid problems with the airbags (going off or getting an airbag warning), I've seen it mentioned that I should disconnect the battery, if I do that will I need to input the radio code (which I don't have)?

Thanks

Dave

Depends on the radio as the sat nav version remembers your vin no, but can discon battery for airbag issue, but your best bet is to get it scanned afterward aswell anyway so you can make sure no issues are apparent.

Thanks Einstein

OK N8 - I give in !! I have a 2.0 TDi Sportback 2006, I haven't a clue what you're on about 'cos I'm a 65 year old geriatric who just enjoys the banter and trying to help when I can ! lol

Also being from Yorkshire means I have a strange sense of humour that can be funny at times but is taken the wrong way most times ! :sadlike:

Hope the event with the tree didn't cause any long lasting injuries.

And, by the way, I'm still pretty good with a soldering iron !! lol :icon_thumright:

Cheers :beerchug:
