hi guys Iv had enough of my mk1 rnse in my a3 8p as the functions are just non existent, I don't use the sat nav and want to be able to link my phone, sub etc...
Iv found a nice double din I want to buy but unsure what else I will need to go with it?
I see people moving switches and card holders etc from above to below?
Will I need a different mounting cage, wiring or Attennas etc?

Cheers

More wires as well as the wiring with the new stereo... Any idea where I can find them?
Also do these audi's have amplified antenna's to worry about?

I just completed this exact thing on my 2009 S3.

Dynamic Sounds sell kits that just work. What year is your car?

Top job, mines a 2007 mate!
What head unit did you go for?
I'm eyeing up the new pioneer sph-da120 looks like a nice bit of kit!

You have a link for the kit?

Anyone got a link for the loom adaptor I need?
Mines non Bose!
Got a stereo yesterday and ordered a fascia just the wiring!

Thanks

I'd just call Dynamic Sounds and ask. They are very helpful and have a wife range of God quality adapters available.

Na nots not it mate mine has a quad lock connector! Just been in halfords and they said they'd need to see my current headunit to be able to phone their suppliers and order one!
But just found this on eBay... Would it work?

Yeah, I wasnt 100% sure. taks what halfords say with a pinch of salt too. Supplied the wrong adaptor and fascia panel when I changed mine.
