Replacing Climate Control Unit

The "auto" button on my climate keeps popping off. I think its the climate control unit as the aircon has just been regassed.

The question is: .......

Is it just a case of buying and replacing the climate control unit or do I have to have a dealer reset something via the Vag-Com etc?

Welcome to the site.

It needs checking with vcds as it maybe a G65 sender on the front by the bottom right of the rad, needs a scan to be sure.

thanks for swift reply. Dealer did a check (alegedly!) and couldnt see the error.

So if I did replace, straight switch in or do I need to reset / sync via VCDS?
