Firstly apologies for the silly questions. I have replaced boot struts before on another car of mine and it was a doddle.
However mine have completely failed since the heat on my 2011 A5 Sportback, I ordered some from SGS engineering, I went try and fit them the other day, however when I tried to remove the old ones I can't get them off.
They clips appear to be plastic rather than the usual metal, and they don't seem to lever out.
Has anyone seen anything like this on this car? am I going mad? what is the knack to this?
