Removing rear door card help needed

Hi guys and gals, looking for help. Rear door on my a3 isn't opening from inside or out. This has been a problem in the past but I unplugged the module in the door and plugged it back in a few months ago and it has worked perfect up until today. Therefore I can't open the door....how on earth can get the panel off with the door being closed? Is it possible? Thanks in advance

Not possible as the lower screw is accessed with the door open.

Try opening with VCDS? Assuming it has an output test to open the door...but if it's the lock that won't work either.
