I've prepping a 2.0 TFSI for removal, and so disconnecting all the sensors to the engine. Most are fairly straightforward but there's a sensor that sits behind the oil filter base. I removed the oil filter but unplugging this sensor, it can't be removed because it hits the oil filter base. It appears to be an air intake sensor. Does the air intake have to be removed to remove it?

Ha! On closer examination, the wires to that sensor are bundled in with the wiring loom coming off from the left hand front, but not actually together. So I've managed to extract the wiring loom bundle without needing to remove this sensor.
