Removing B pillar plastic on 3door model?

Hi.

I would like to paint B pillars in piano black, just like they are painted on MY11. I am wondering is it easy to take them off? Only remove 3 rivets and that's it? Part is not glued in any way?

Are there some photos around?

Drill out the 3 rivets then wiggle upwards to remove, 5 minute job.

You may be better wrapping in gloss black vinyl rather than painting with regards to durability.

I ordered a set of piano black pillars from the main dealer and replaced.

BTW they are metal, not plastic.

Had my done about a month ago and I was very pleased with the result. It looks very glossy which match with my tint.

Window bondant is the glue for windows, or do you mean black rubber sealant that goes around the window?
