Removing Audi Center Caps safely

Hi All,

I am having to remove the centre caps from my Audi to place back my original alloys onto the car - obviously i don't want to use the tool audi provided as they scratch the sh*t off the inside of the alloy! - does anyone use something better? safer? possibly a little botch tool/ solution?

cant you just push them out from the inside with a piece of wood?

This is what ive always done with every car ive owned lol, didnt even know there was a special tool...

Flat bladed screw driver with insulating tape round the end works a treat for me...
