Removing A Pillar cover ?

I'm trying to hard wire my road angel in - I know how to wire it in to the fuse box so it switched - but how do you get the A pillar cover off & is it safe to take the cover off as the car has the blanket airgbags ?

You can just grab it and pull it off but if you are only wanting to route a wire then I wouldnt even bother. Just push the wire in behind the trim using something like a credit card.

Cheers - Think will have to remove the whole A Pillar cover as trying to get the RA lead to the bottom right of the windscreen !

Yes - Just pull the A-pillar trim off a little way. Then you need to slide the trim up toward the roof to completely remove it.

Be careful if you are running cables at you need to ensure that they are well out of the way of the curtain airbag.
