Remove a Concert Head Unit

Do I need a special tool to remove an Audi fitted Concert stereo. I would like to put an MP3 player in - can I assume standard connectors are used?

yes, they can be purchased from any decent ICE dealer at about £5 (got mine from Uplands). Standard connectors.
